Idol Debut Expected Soon: American Idol champ David Cook's debut has been pencilled in for a Nov. 18 release date. The set is being produced by Rob Cavallo and will likely include co-writes with Collective Soul's Ed Roland, Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida and Kara DioGuardi, Idol 's newest judge.

Despite all the gossip that accompanied the show-going 'slebs at PPQ last night, the fashion label still pulled out all the stops to create a very memorable show. Less is not more when it comes to woman's swimwear trends this year. Forget the skimpy bikinis and dive into swimwear that fits real women no matter what their size. In terms of color magenta is huge this season as well as jewel tones including emerald, purple and sapphire blue.

If this trend continues, I can see several consumers opting for safer investments (it's amazing that right now money market accounts, which once were considered "safe investments", is even a part of this conversation!) such as CDs or High-Yield Savings accounts.
